Extreme Kitchens

We see a lot of kitchens here at Prestige, so it’s kind of hard to surprise us with a truly unique design. But it still happens, and we always try to learn something from it. Though we could never choose a favorite, here are a few of the unique kitchens we really love.

You know we’re partial to natural stone here at Prestige, but this lego island is definitely a colorful alternative. This island was the brainchild of Parisian design duo Simon Pillard and Philippe Rosetti and consists of 20,000 lego blocks.legokitchenPhoto: Wills Company
Interior designers Branimira Ivanova and Desislava Ivanova call this innovative design “Cubism in the Kitchen”. Their goal was to create a kitchen that was both functional and artistic. The result is a beautiful space with a uniquely modern twist.

It doesn’t get much cooler than this kitchen island/giant aquarium combo. But how do you maintain your aquarium? Not only does this island have hidden storage, and plumbing for the built-in sink, there is a mechanism that raises the entire top at the push of a button. Aquarium-kitchen-island-brings-in-the-wow-factorPhoto: Gizmodo.com
It might be hard to believe that this Arabian-themed space is a kitchen, but it is. The ornate design might be too much for most people, but it absolutely makes a statement.11464Photo: Ideal Home
We love everything about this open concept kitchen with a staircases divider and island with a built-in fireplace. The clean lines, mixing of different materials, and muted design colors make this design feel both trendy and timeless at the same time.open-staircase-design-partition-saota-1.jpgPhoto: Trendir
